Alma-Q fires nanosecond pulses that shatter ink particles without heating the surrounding skin. The fragments are then carried away by the immune system over the following weeks, which is why the tattoo fades between sessions rather than during them.
How many sessions a tattoo needs depends on the ink colour, its density, its age and where it sits on the body. Professional black ink clears most predictably; greens, yellows and pastel shades are more stubborn and may leave a shadow.

Prices follow the size of the tattoo: up to 20 cm, 20–40 cm and 40–60 cm. The doctor measures it at the consultation, so you know which band applies before the first session.
Most tattoos need several sessions, so each size is offered as a single session or as a course of five at a lower total. If you are not sure how many sessions your tattoo will need, start with one — the doctor can judge the response and advise whether the course makes sense.

Consultation and test
The doctor assesses the ink, its colours and depth, checks your phototype and estimates the course. A test pulse is done where needed.

The session
Eye protection, cooling, then pulses across the tattoo — it feels like hot sparks. Twenty to forty-five minutes depending on size.

Aftercare
Crusting for a few days; no picking, a clean dressing and SPF 50. The next session in about six weeks, once the skin has cleared the fragments.
