Laser hair removal at The FAME is performed with the MeDioStar Monolith by the German manufacturer Asclepion, a high-power diode laser system. Its Monolith handpieces come in different sizes, so the specialist can work precisely on small areas such as the upper lip and cover larger zones such as the legs or back efficiently.
The laser targets the pigment in the hair follicle and progressively reduces hair growth over a course of sessions. Patients often choose it to reduce visible regrowth, spend less time shaving or waxing, and improve the look and feel of skin affected by frequent hair removal.

Every area is priced separately, and you can combine as many as you like in one visit. If you plan several large areas, the full body and face option is usually the simpler choice. Women's and men's areas are listed separately because hair density and the size of the areas differ.
The number of sessions depends on the area and the hair rather than on the price row: most areas need six to ten, while hormonal areas such as the chin may need more and periodic maintenance. We confirm the settings and the likely course after the test.

How the MeDioStar Monolith works
The MeDioStar Monolith uses diode laser wavelengths of 808/810 nm and 940 nm, depending on the system specification. Melanin in the hair absorbs the light energy and converts it into heat, which targets the follicle.
The handpieces feature 360° contact skin cooling to help manage the surface temperature during treatment. Different spot sizes support precise work on small areas and efficient coverage of larger zones.
Why a course of sessions
Hair grows in cycles, and a given session mainly affects the hairs in their active growth phase. That is why a course of sessions is planned, with the number and interval depending on the area, the hair characteristics and your individual response.
Ingrown hairs and shaving irritation
By progressively reducing hair growth, laser treatment can reduce the repeated shaving and waxing that often contribute to irritation and ingrown hairs. Many patients find that the treated skin looks and feels smoother as the course progresses.
