What isDermablate Er:YAG Laser?
Dermablate MCL by Asclepion is an Er:YAG laser operating at a wavelength of 2940 nm. Depending on the selected settings and treatment protocol, it can precisely ablate superficial skin layers and support skin resurfacing.
The procedure may be considered to improve the appearance of uneven texture, visible pores, fine lines and selected scars. The same laser is used to remove selected skin lesions after a clinical assessment. The depth and intensity of treatment are chosen by the clinician after assessing your skin; not every concern is suitable for laser resurfacing.

What doesit treat?
- Uneven skin texture
- Visible pores
- Selected fine lines
- Selected acne scars
- Some superficial scars
- Selected skin lesions, after a clinical assessment
When we will not treat you

- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Isotretinoin in the last six months
- Fresh tan or planned sun exposure
- A tendency to keloid scarring
- Active infection or herpes in the treated area

Skin texture & pores
Laser resurfacing may be considered when skin texture looks uneven or pores appear more noticeable. The clinician assesses whether Dermablate is appropriate and selects the settings according to your skin and goals.
Fine lines & skin rejuvenation
Depending on the treatment plan, Dermablate may help soften the appearance of selected fine lines and improve overall skin texture. The outcome depends on the depth of the lines, skin quality, treatment intensity and individual healing.
Scars
Dermablate may be considered for selected scars, including some post-acne scars, after an in-person assessment. Scar type, depth, skin tone, medical history and the risk of pigmentation changes all influence the treatment plan.
Laser resurfacing is not suitable for every scar or every skin type. Your clinician will explain realistic expectations and alternatives.
Hollywood Skin protocol
Hollywood Skin is THE FAME’s combined protocol that pairs Dermablate resurfacing with Lumecca IPL for selected concerns involving skin tone and texture. Whether the combination suits you, and whether the treatments are done in one visit or staged, is decided by the clinician after assessing your skin.
Results fromthe clinic.
Results and recovery depend on the treatment depth, skin condition and individual healing. Photographs do not guarantee an identical outcome; individual results vary.

Dermablate Er:YAG LaserHow it works.
The 2940 nm Er:YAG wavelength is strongly absorbed by water in the skin. In suitable protocols, the laser removes controlled amounts of superficial tissue with precision. The treatment parameters determine how intensive the resurfacing is.
Because resurfacing deliberately affects the skin barrier, redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding or crusting and a recovery period may occur, depending on the treatment depth. Strict aftercare and sun protection are important.

Three steps,no surprises.
- 01
Consultation
Your clinician assesses your skin, medical history, concerns and suitability. You discuss the treatment depth, expected recovery, risks and alternatives.
- 02
The procedure
The area is prepared and the laser is used according to the agreed protocol. The duration and level of discomfort depend on the area and treatment intensity; anaesthesia or cooling may be considered when appropriate.
- 03
Aftercare and follow-up
You receive individual instructions for cleansing, moisturising, avoiding irritants and protecting the skin from the sun. Redness and sensitivity can last for days or longer depending on treatment depth, so do not plan important events until the clinician has explained the likely recovery window.

Where we use it.
Asked beforebooking.
Sensations vary with the area and treatment intensity. Your clinician explains the available comfort measures before treatment.
It depends on the depth and settings used. Redness, swelling, sensitivity, crusting or temporary changes in skin colour may occur. Follow the aftercare plan and contact the clinic if symptoms are unexpected or getting worse.
There may be visible recovery time, depending on the treatment depth. The expected recovery is discussed with you before treatment.
That depends on your concern, its severity and your skin’s response. Some concerns may be addressed in one session, while others need a course or a different approach.
Some concerns may be considered, but laser resurfacing can also trigger post-inflammatory pigmentation in susceptible skin. A clinician assesses the type of pigmentation and your risk factors first.
Dermablate and Lumecca are used together in the clinic’s Hollywood Skin protocol for selected patients. Whether the combination is suitable, and whether the treatments are done in one visit or staged, is decided by the clinician after assessing your skin.
A face session is AED 1,700 and the eye area AED 1,100. Skin lesion removal is priced per lesion, from AED 400 for one to four lesions. Prices are in AED, plus 5% VAT; the full list is on this page.
Often plannedalongside.

“Resurfacing is the treatment I plan around the patient's calendar. Given a free week and a promise of real sun protection, an Er:YAG session does what no amount of gentle facials will do for scars.”
Treated by a clinic,not a salon.

Physician-led
Every treatment is planned and performed by a doctor or a certified therapist of the clinic — never handed to an untrained pair of hands.

Assessed, then treated
We start with a skin assessment and your history, and only then choose the device, the depth and the number of sessions.

Original protocols
Certified devices and original consumables: Morpheus8, Ultraformer, Lumecca, Endolift, Volnewmer, DMK, Biologique Recherche.

Planned over time
We photograph the baseline, plan the course and adjust it as your skin responds, instead of selling single sessions.
